Go Kart Go caps

Not!Fandom: Autumn Bench
Because I capped this movie for myself, I thought I would share the Frazery goodness here. There are 22 caps of Frazer from the 1963 film "Go Kart Go" which is a bit daft, but utterly fantastic if you love Frazer.

His character is a bad boy go kart racer named Harry Haggetty. He picks on twelve year old boys and little girls, and plays dirty. Though he's a bit spotty, he nevertheless manages to look fantastic in this.

You have my persmission to iconize, macroize or otherwise tweak these pictures. :D

I recently bought the Doctor Who Magazine #98 that has this Frazer interview, and I don't know if you guys have read it or not, but I figured I'd post it just in case...

Frazer interview, plusCollapse )

Please tell me if I'm managed to muck something up, it's my first time using photobucket. I also have the original high resolution scans, if anyone's interested. Cross-posted to two_love

I have heard that one of my wallpapers is not the size it is supposed to be so I have reposted the wallpaper in question again. Apologies to anyone who have suffered from this inconvenience but thank you for the heads up!

Replacement The Two Doctors Jamie 1024X768

PS: I have accidentally deleted the originals of the wallpapers off my hard drive (*kicks self very hard indeed*) and so this design may be slghtly different to its smaller conterpart 'cause i had to recreate it all from scratch. I couldn't just download from the links I have posted here earlier cause I'm using one of a TAFE college computer and for some strange reason it blocks my webpage from being access >:( and I can't download them from home because my internet connection is temporarily unavailable. I could've used a friends computer to retrieve em but all my friends live interstate and I haven't made any new ones from were I live now D: (which is definitely saying something about how shy I am! LOLZ). So sorry again but this is the best I can do. I hope you like it! Even though I double checked, hopefully it's the right size this time!

Karma must hate me!

Joe Sugden picspam

Not!Fandom: Autumn Bench
Well, I've recently got a bunch of "Emmerdale Farm" magazines and have scanned every photo of Frazer Hines as Joe Sugden from them. I've stuck them up on my new community emmerdalefarm (yes, yes, I am actually trying to create an "Emmerdale Farm" fandom. You see if I don't!), but I thought I'd link to the photos in this community, since I imagine the Frazer love is strong here.

Mind, there are a ton of very large photos, so it is not dial-up friendly. Um, spoilers for Emmerdale Farm? Hahahaha, through the 80s. XD

I found this thread over at dw_britglish interesting, but mostly because of this thread.

Now, I am truly horrible at writing Jamie's dialect phonetically, which is why I always have my Second Doctor fic thoroughly betaed. However, I would much rather write it without the phonetic dialect. It's just easier easier. But I'm curious as to what you think. To phonetic or not to phonetic? Is it written phonetically in the books? What do you prefer to write? What do you prefer to read?
